Welcome to the Family, Elex
As Lynne mentioned, Dawn and Elex were married in a very simple ceremony in August. Here's a few pictures from that special day.

Elex and Dawn, with Andrew, John and Brad. Aren't the boys getting big?!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of the things we do sometimes is leave old flowers on the plants for the birds to enjoy. Here's a couple pictures of some goldfinches eating the seeds from some spent Zinnia flowers under the kitchen window.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
John and Andrew still love to explore the pond, usually in search of tadpoles.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ruth came over one day in late August with a 'find' she had picked up at a thrift shop. It's an old wood sash window, that at one time had been painted and used as a picture frame. Of course, Lynne loved it, and it now hangs between the family room and dining room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And as I head off in search of more pictures (actually, I have to copy them off Lynne's computer and crop/resize them) we'll leave you with Simba this time, who still manages to find the strangest, smallest, most unlikely places to sneak a nap.
