Celeste's Party
A 3 year old granddaughter, a bunch of family, a couple cameras, and well, this is the result :-)

We really have to thank our daughter Dawn for most of these pictures. Lynne and I were under a little bit of a time constraint for Celeste's birthday party, since a Hospice volunteer was kind enough to come stay with Mom so we could get away for a few hours.
The pictures pretty much tell the story of the afternoon. Apparently, Celeste and her cousins had fun with the helium baloons, some which must have escaped her Daddy's grasp 'accidentally'.

Celeste and her Birthday cake

Celeste really seemed to like the party horns
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All that fun deserves a cake refill :-)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And presents -- cant forget the presents ;)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As mentioned above, thanks to Hospice, we were able to get away for a few hours. They do so much for so many, and we've used their services a few times since Mom's hospital stay last February. We can't ever say enough about the fine staff from Johnston Memorial and Hospice Care who have done so much for Mom, and for us.
Coming up next--- September rains bring October's best.
Again, we hope all is well with all of you who stop by to visit us. Please leave us a note in the reply box so we know you saw our latest update. Take care, and God Bless- From the Heartland of North Carolina.
