Fall/Winter veggies...
So far, the really cold weather has held off, which has been a good thing here in the Heartland. With the mild fall, we've had several salads from the fresh lettuce, and several servings from the beets. Carrots are doing well, the cabbage is trying to form heads, and it won't be long before the broccoli is ready for picking.
